The New Jersey Professional Process Servers Association hosted a meeting on October 1st at LouCas in Edison. The meeting was well-attended with process servers coming from all sections of New Jersey as well as Pennsylvania.
The meeting covered a range of topics, including the discussion the introduction of potential legislation exempting process servers from trespass as well as gaining access to gated communities. The group also discussed the future of the organization as well as the creation of a quarterly newsletter to help keep members informed.
Rochelle Moneta of LeRoe Promotional Marketing spoke at the meeting on the topic of branding and promotional products. Rochelle stressed the importance of thinking carefully about what you want your promotional products to accomplish prior to purchasing, rather than simply purchasing just to have a promotional product on hand. Her takeaway: take some time to lay out your marketing goals and your audience, then fit your promotional product into your strategy versus purchasing what others in your industry are purchasing just because.
